A Peppermint Christmas Home

Built in the 1970s, this charming traditional duplex has been lovingly transformed since becoming home in 2016. The bright red front door— refurbished by hand—sets the tone for a space filled with personality and Christmas cheer.

 

Inside, the cozy living room glows with the fireplace’s light over a mix of modern and antique furnishings. The kitchen and dining area sparkle in peppermint red and white, while a sleepy Santa rests in the guest room. The master bedroom showcases artwork collected from estate sales, garage sales, and Canton, along with one cherished antique—a small chest that belonged to the homeowner’s late husband.

 

A true do-it-yourselfer and independent spirit, she has lovingly reimagined every corner herself. Even the garage transforms for gatherings, featuring a unique surprise room at the back. And of course, a real Santa roams the home, checking who’s been naughty or nice!
